This extraordinary, glow-in-the-dark experience is set beneath the waves of takutai moana and the mighty Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa. It follows the uplifting story of Kina, a loveable sea urchin who has lost her memory and her way.
As Kina journeys through the Pacific, she meets a hilarious and curious crew of glowing sea creatures – including dancing crabs, beautiful manta rays, jiving clams, and the grand Pacific Queen– all brought to life by more than 40 extraordinary, handcrafted puppets.
Guided by the wisdom of the ocean, Kina embarks on a journey of self-discovery to find her family, her true identity, and her inner strength. With the help of a kindly octopus and a little moana magic, she is reimagined as a radiant pearl.
He waka eke noa / we are all in this together is the guiding whakataukī of the show, with heartfelt themes of resilience, kindness, and the beauty within.

Kia ora Glow Show company. I just wanted to say thanks so much for your amazing show in Nelson yesterday. we took our two moko (age 2 & 4) and they were absolutely enthralled. The quality and flow of your show was outstanding. Such a lovely story in the lead up to Matariki, and tonight and last night we have seen in re-enacted with toy animals at bath time! This show as expected is on another level. It is visually spectacular. The artwork of the puppetry is beautiful. Add that to a great cast and superb storytelling and you have a piece that would have Spike Milligan howling in the aisle.Well done Glow Show. It is worth seeing again and again.

10/10 experience. Kids and adults all absolutely loved the show. The overall experience was great. Particularly for our tamariki sitting down and watching a live show was a great time out and away to rest and enjoy something nice and not too serious together.
Both kids found the giant’s bum showing part of the show the best. They’re still laughing even just talking about it today.
